What an opportunity! We're headed to Europe for 3 weeks to explore Italy & France. We were invited to Briancon, France to bike in the French Alps with a group of cyclist friends. The invite was an exciting idea and that quickly turned it into reality. Coincidentally, my brother Jeff and his friend Naomi are going to be in Europe the same month so we'll have a chance to meet up with them and explore Northern Italy together. Because we'll be there so long and traveling to quite a few different towns and cities, our goal is to pack light, each with a backpack and a carry on.  Packing light been a fun challenge and we both know we'll be glad we didn't pack the kitchen sink when we're boarding trains and dragging our personal belongings from city to city.  Needless to say, we're looking forward to the trip and are excited to see new (and old!) places and explore a little bit of Europe.  First stop:  Venice.
